Down the road to the left is a very nice house.

Directly across the street is an even nicer house, mostly hidden by the trees.

Looking across the street and up a little bit, you can barely see the really, really nice house up on the hill.

Zooming in with the camera, you can get an idea of just how nice that house really is.

Dick Johnson, a very good neighbor, has helped tend the gardens over the year.

The front garden has a revolving display of perennials.

Tiny Tim daffodils are one of the first perennials to bloom each year.

Tulips, violets and a quince bush are just coming into bloom, as Nicki remains ever-vigilent.

There are many rock walls and rock-walled gardens on the property; this one is full of poppies.

Lungwort, with its spotted leaves and multi-colored flowers, grows in abundance in many of the gardens.

Patches of Columbine can also be found all over, in and out of the gardens.

Beebalm, a favorite of hummingbirds, butterflies and bees, creates beautiful red waves of flowers.

All sorts of daffodils greet spring with their happy blooms, from locations all over the property.

There is a hedgerow of lilacs that provides a sweet aroma and blooms for the house.

Looking toward the back meadow

There is a small shed out behind the house, surrounded by apple trees, birches and evergreens.

At night it's great to have a small bonfire, with logs for sitting on, and plentiful firewood available for burning.

Ant created this natural table using a giant rock which is solidly balanced on a huge treestump.

This table is stable, and provides a great vantage point.

Ant crafted a multi-tiered stone "patio" with a view to the back meadow.

Looking across to the pond, the chair that Lillian used to fish from remains under a shady evergreen tree.

Birches, Aspens and Evergreens provide a shady path alongside the stream.

Toward the upper end of the stream, you can cross over the fallen tree bridge, and see Mt. Pisgah in the distance.

When the snow melts, the stream swells and its babbling sounds can be heard from the house.

The first of three driveways, this one is closest to the kitchen entrance.

Driveway 1 provides ample parking, easy access to the kitchen entrance, the front door and back door entrances.

Driveway 2 connects to Driveway 3 to form a circular driveway, and really easy access to and from the road.
